Hayley Orrantia is an American actor, singer, and song writer. The majority of people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. Although she's a singer however, her passion for music. Music is the first passion she maintains; it is something she has dabbled into when she was just 9 years old. Her first training began in the field of professional music when she was twelve. In 2013, she picked up songwriting and recorded her first album. And the rest is history. Orrantia is of Hispanic heritage, yet was born in the USA. She is a native of Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English when a young girl and spent her entire life in the United States. In order to preserve her heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Also, she writes songs using the language. 'Hasta Verte' a song that she wrote in Spanish is an example of this. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere season of The X Factor. Orrantia took home the very first season of The X-Factor when she uploaded a YouTube recording of her audition. She received an impressive four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage audition in Seattle. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she along with three female vocalists were placed together for the remaining auditions of "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated in the fifth week of live show.
