Annie Mist Thorisdottir, from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she trains athletes. Annie is the only woman to ever win two CrossFit Games. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter as well as a media star. She has gained fame for being the first woman who has ever won two CrossFit Games: in 2011 as well as 2012. The winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2017, Annie is well-known. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. As a child she was a huge enthusiast of fitness and sports. She took part in a variety of school events and earned several medals. Her first participation was time in 2009 at the CrossFit Games held in California and did very well. She finished 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. The following year, she again participated in the CrossFit competitions and due to her outstanding performance she was able to win the competition and became the first female to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie was again the winner of her first CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and was the first female athlete who won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she won a gold medal. And in 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie is a rising athlete who has appeared as the spokesperson for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae. Her own Youtube page is awash with over 1000 subscribers, where she posts the videos of her family and trips and training-related diets.
